Windows Server 2008 八大SKU

最新消息：微软将会为Windows Server 2008发布八大SKU版本，将根据是否具有Hyper-V (代码名为Viridian，微软最新的虚拟化技术)划分为：

"Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition" (with Hyper-V)
"Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition" (with Hyper-V)
"Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Edition" (with Hyper-V)

由于Hyper-V仅支持x64的缘故，所以仅仅针对64位平台。

"Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition without Hyper-V"
"Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition without Hyper-V"
"Windows Server 2008 Datacenter Edition without Hyper-V" (x64 only)
"Windows Server 2008 Web Edition" (没有hyper-V, 但是本地SQL server支持)
"Windows Server 2008 Itanium Edition" （类似datacenter的高端版本）

这些版本将会最后一批32位Server版本，好在Windows 7客户端还是32位操作系统。

另外，2008年下半年，我们还会看到：Windows Storage Server 2008, Windows Esssentials Business Server 2008 (Centro) 和 Windows Small Business Server 2008 (Cougar)三个版本。
