Windows Mobile Device Center开发组宣布Mobile设备中心6.1发布了，主要更新及新功能有：
* Windows Mobile 6 支持的功能：
- 信息权限管理（IRM）激活：自动配置Mobile6设备开启IRM保护文档和文件
- HTML邮件：设置你的Mobile6设备同步HTML格式邮件
- 证书登记：通过连接着Mobile6的PC获取证书
- 允许连接到PC的Mobile设备的数据连接
- 智能电话的文件同步：与Mobile6设备同步文件，包括触摸屏和非触摸屏设备
* 自动设备认证：连接搭配PC时无需每次都输入设备锁定PIN
* 产品注册：注册Mobile设备并获得连接信息
