Long Zheng发现，在最近一次招工公告中，微软提到计划招收为Windows添加原生虚拟磁盘（Virtual Hard Disks，VHD）支持的开发人员。并且，公告中明确提及这个系统就是指Windows 7，如果不考虑微软最终缩减功能的话（微软经常这么干），那么Windows 7 应该会具备原生的VHD支持。

In Windows 7, our team will be responsible for creating, mounting, performing I/O on, and dismounting VHDs (virtual hard disks) natively.
