2007年12月，微软宣布将会在Windows Vista中对反盗版利器WGA（Windows Genuine Advantage）做些改变，总的来说并没有多少实质性的变化。由于没有安装独立版本，所以不知道在安装SP1时，是否会接受正版验证。根据Paul Thurrott对SP1 RTM的WGA测试截图，将会出现上图所示的几种提醒界面。有关Windows Vista SP1中WGA新变化，请参见去年我翻译总结的Paul的介绍文章：有关Windows Vista SP1中WGA新变化。
