Google 宣布 Google Video 加入了103部现存于美国国家档案馆的历史影片，包括：
阿波罗11号任务影片以及人类第一次踏上月球时的场景 1984年的“Carmencita - Spanish Dance”，现存最早的电影之一 二战期间，美国政府新闻片的代表段落 NASA 关于太空飞行的纪录片
前段时间 Official Google Blog 提到了它正在“协助美国国家档案馆”，“启动一个项目数字化他们的影像资料，从而免费提供给世界上的所有人”。
但是遗憾的是"Currently, the playback feature of Google Video isn't available in your country.We hope to make this feature available more widely in the future, and we really appreciate your patience. "
