Google正在收购来自芬兰首都赫尔辛基的移动社会化网络提供商Jaiku，也就是著名的Twitter的竞争对手。

根据Jaiku网站（现在无法访问）发布的消息，Jaiku对于Google的收购相当兴奋，并表示继续努力争取更多创新。

"Exciting news: Jaiku is joining Google! While it's too soon to comment on specific plans, we look forward to working with our new friends at Google over the coming months to expand in ways we hope you'll find interesting and useful. Our engineers are excited to be working together, and enthusiastic developers lead to great innovation. We look forward to accomplishing great things together. In order to focus on innovation instead of scaling, we have decided to close new-user sign-ups for now."

Google 方面也在Official Google Blog上证实了这一消息。

没有使用过Jaiku的服务，但是根据HUNG的评论，他认为Jaiku在任何角度来看都差 Twitter 一大截。那么Google为什么不收购Twetter而收购Jaiku呢？或许Google认为这个不是最重要的，通过后天努力可以追上Twetter？当然，Jaiku的价格绝对比Twetter要便宜。
