微软突然向MSDN发布Vista SP1 RC
微软为MSDN订户发布了Vista SP1 RC 预览版的下载链接，表示SP1解决了许多可靠性和性能问题，支持更多新硬件及新兴标准。同时，也重申Vista SP1计划2008年发布。

但是，很快，这个链接就被撤掉了。微软未对此事做任何评论。尽管如此，我们可以预想Vista SP1大范围测试的日期已经不远了。
