AOL将提供免费.com域名

AOL宣布将为用户免费提供.com域名。AOL没有给出具体时间，不过大概是9月份。这是一个非常吸引人的想法，我们知道互联网绝大部分是免费的，不过免费提供域名还是首次。
由于之前AOL的服务多是收费的，包括电子邮件都收费，导致AOL的用户大量流失，AOL也已经是今非昔比。最近我们频繁看到AOL推出多种免费的服务，其中有免费的电子邮件，免费5G存储空间，免费杀毒软件。AOL希望以此挽回用户。
其实现在基本上已经没有什么好的域名了，希望以后注册域名能够像注册电邮那么简单且免费。
